Bets in the Roulette
Bets in the Roulette
There are eight various bets in the Roulette. Each of them covers various numbers and has their own scale of payments indicated further in the table of payments.
Inner Bets (Bets on the Playing Field)
- The bet on one number (Straight) – You can make a bet on a definite number from 1 up to 36, and on zero. The chip is put directly onto the number indicated.
- The bet on two numbers (Split) - You can make a bet on two adjoining numbers on the playing field. In order to do this you must put a chip onto the line separating these two numbers. Take into account that a chip can also be put onto the line separating 0 and 1, 2, 3.
- The bet on three numbers (Street) – This bet covers three numbers. Put a chip onto the outer edge of the playing field, common for the column out of the three numbers chosen.
- The bet on four numbers (Square) – this bet covers four adjoining numbers. Put a chip onto the intersection of the four numbers.
- The bet on six numbers (Sixline) – This bet covers two adjoining bets on Street (that is, six different numbers in two columns, three numbers in each column. For example, 4, 5, 6 +7, 8, 9). Put a chip onto the intersection of the line separating two cross-cut rows of numbers and the line that limits the playing field.
Outer bets
- The bet on a column – There are three boxes marked as “2 to 1” on the remote side of the field. When you put your chip in one of these boxes, you make a bet on the 12 numbers placed above (except for zero).
- The bet on a dozen – In the Roulette, you can make bets on groups of 12 numbers. Put your chip into one of the sectors marked as “1 st 12”, “2 st 12”, or “3 st 12”.
- The bet Red/Black, Even/Odd, Large/Small – Even Chances – The bets placed into one of these sectors cover half of the playing field of the Roulette (except for zero). Each bet covers 18 numbers.
Call bets
Apart from other basic bets, there are Call bets in the Roulette. This name came into on-line casino from the real Roulette – a player gives chips to the dealer and says what sector they must be put in. There are the following Call bets in the Roulette:
- The sector Voisins du Zero
~ They make a bet on all the numbers in the sector “Voisins du Zero”: (22, 18, 29, 7, 28, 12, 35, 3, 26, 0, 32, 15, 19, 4, 21, 2, and 25).
- The sector Tier du Cylindre
~ The numbers 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, 8, 23, 10, 5, 24, 16, and 33 are covered with six chips, a chip for each pair of numbers: 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30, 33/36.
- The sector Orphelins
~ A player makes a bet on the following numbers: 17, 34, 6, 1, 20, 14, 31, and 9.
- The sector Zero Spiel
~ A player makes a bet on the following numbers: 12, 35, 3, 26, 0, 32, and 15.
- The bet on the neighbors
~ This bet covers a number and four adjoining numbers on the wheel: two numbers on the right and two on the left.
- The bet on the last number
~ A player makes a bet on the whole of numbers with the identical last figure. For instance, “Last 5” stands for the bet 5, 15, 25, 35.
The Optimal Strategy for the Roulette
No doubt, the Roulette is invincible. Whatever the system will be, the expectation of the check stays the same for a player - minus 2.7%. However, various systems allow us to loosen the dispersion of the game. In this case, a player has a chance either to win much or to lose quickly.
The basis of all the systems of playing the Roulette is different progressions, in other words, you raise bets when you lose. My favorite system that brought me much money is set forth below. I do not state that this system will always work. To my mind, this system is most logical and convenient to use. I will say it again – the Roulette is invincible… still, one can beat it.
